Search For Talent #6

The Red Bluff Exchange Club presents the sixth annual Search for Talent, Saturday, February 18th, at Red Bluff’s historic State Theater. The curtain goes up at 7:00 pm.  Tickets are $5.00 for adults, ages 10-18 are only $3.00 and kids under 10 are free. Help Spare a Pair!

The Lariat Bowl in Red Bluff will sponsor HELP SPARE A PAIR!…Strike out Breast Cancer on Saturday, February 18 at 2 pm.

Bowl for the cure to breast cancer at this fun event. Each team will consist of four bowlers and will bowl three games. The third game will be 9-pin No-Tap. Entry fe is $25 per bowler. Proceed will benefit the Susan G. Komen for the Cure foundation.

Bowlers are encouraged to obtain a minimum of $30 in pledge donations to bring to the event. Everyone will receive a commemorative T-shirt and a gift bag from local merchants.

Also join us for a wine tasting after the bowling tourament from 5 pm until 8pm. Wine tasting is just $5 per person and proceeds also go to benefit Susan G Komen for the Cure©.

Bull and Gelding Sale’s “Cowpie Classic”

Chamber sponsors The Bull and Gelding Sale “Cow Pie Classic”
You are going to love this year’s “Cow Pie Classic” 3 person wheelbarrow competition. Teams from local businesses and organizations will navigate through an obstacle course (with one person being blind folded, of course!), pick up a cow pie and the passenger will hold it one handed while the team races back to the finish line. Teams will also decorate their own wheelbarrows which will be 25% of their score. Judging will take place on January 24th. First place will win beautiful belt buckles and a cow pie trophy. Each team gets three admission tickets to the Bull Ride and lots of advertising during the event. Registration is $100 per team. Deadline to register is January 20th.

Thirteen California mandatory state posters are now available on a pair of laminated sheets for easy display, featuring the most recent updates. The posters are available in both English and Spanish versions. Failure to post all of the mandatory Federal and state posters can lead to fines of up to $17,000.

The Deadline for entries to the Red Bluff Christmas Parade is Friday, November 18 at 4:30 PM.  Enter online at www.redbluffchamber.com or download the form and deliver or mail to the Chamber office.

The Red Bluff Parade is Saturday, November 26, 2011, 5:30 PM in Downtown Red Bluff.  The Theme is Babes in Toyland.  Entry is $20.00 Categories to enter under are Marching Units,  Floats, Bands, Individual Equestrian, Group Equestrian, Animal Drawn Vehicles, Vehicle Units (vehicles must be of 1986 vintage or older, AND decorated with a Christmas theme)
